How does Shakespeare show the themes of love and hate in act 1 scene 5, through the language of the characters

The way Shakespeare uses the contrast of love and hate in the scene by using : personification and other form of word play.

Here some examples of love

The first example of love is when Romeo describes Juliet being one of the most beautiful people in the world “O she doth teach the torches to burn bright!” Romeo line 43

The second example is “What lady’s that which doth enrich the hand” Romeo line 40-41

Here are some examples of hate.

1.”A villain that is hithercome in spite” Tybalt line 61-62

2. ” Here’s much to do with hate but more with love” Romeo

Shakespeare shows the themes of love and hate in Act 1 Scene 5 in a number of ways. Firstly he makes Romeo and Juliet conversation is a sonet (Which is a love peom) to show that there are in love. The use of hate in the scene is the use of anthesis by Romeo
