I say: read this book. You will not find anywhere here that Grit is about “sucking it up and getting it done”. Angela Duckworth writes: “This book has been my way of taking you out for a coffee and telling you what I know”. This book is filled with the science of Grit, as well as countless stories about Grit. The stories stick. I will have to read the book again to internalize the science of it all. I suggest you start the book with the conclusion. It gives readers a great outline of what the book is about, without giving it all away. In the conclusion Is the best part about this book “. To be gritty is to hold fast to an interesting and purposeful goal. To be gritty is to invest, day after week after year, in challenging practice. I would give this book 4.5 stars out of 5

How does Shakespeare show the themes of love and hate in act 1 scene 5, through the language of the characters
The way Shakespeare uses the contrast of love and hate in the scene by using : personification and other form of word play.
Here some examples of love
The first example of love is when Romeo describes Juliet being one of the most beautiful people in the world “O she doth teach the torches to burn bright!” Romeo line 43
The second example is “What lady’s that which doth enrich the hand” Romeo line 40-41
Here are some examples of hate.
1.”A villain that is hithercome in spite” Tybalt line 61-62
2. ” Here’s much to do with hate but more with love” Romeo
Shakespeare shows the themes of love and hate in Act 1 Scene 5 in a number of ways. Firstly he makes Romeo and Juliet conversation is a sonet (Which is a love peom) to show that there are in love. The use of hate in the scene is the use of anthesis by Romeo
Re-Write Romeo’s speech
I’m concern we’ll get there too early. I have a feeling this party tonight will be the start of something horrible, something to do with my own death. But God will chose where my life’s going can steer me wherever they want. Onward, lover boys!
Review: The Murder Road
This book was a British crime novel set in the Peak District, and featuring DI Ben Cooper. The crime mystery itself was good. A lorry driver is lured down a country lane leading to a tiny hamlet, where it gets wedged under a railway bridge. He is then brutally murdered. But was an accident or was it on purpose? I like the plot and I wanted to keep reading to find out the answers.
On the minus side, I found the minutiae of details about roads, tracks etc quite boring and mostly irrelevant. Maybe they would’ve meant more if I lived in the Peak District. I also found the atmosphere of the book bleak and rather depressing. In addition, I hadn’t realised this was #15 in a series and I felt I was missing quite a lot of backstory on the lead characters and didn’t warm to them. For all these reasons, I’m giving this book 4

But Tybalt who is a capulet starting fight it was impossible to stop the fight. After that, they are both in police centre and king said that if they ever fought in Verona again they will be killed
Female Characters!!
In the play, The three characters; Juliet, Lady Capulet and the nurse have very personalities in the play. Lady Capulet, who is Juliet mum, is very short-tempered and naive because in scene Act 1 Scene 3, while the nurse is telling her about juliet life when she was young, she was rudely interrupted by lady Capulet, Enough of this, I pray thee hold they peace,’. On the other hand, the nurse is a very sweet and is the opposite of lady Capulet. She is caring and also understanding aswell. Lastly they’re Juliet who is a inccont little girl who is forced to be married to an 18 year old man.
